What is Mensa? Mensa is an organization for individuals who have an IQ in the top 2% of the population as measured on a standardized intelligence test. There are no other qualifications for membership. Mensa does not hold any opinion or have or express any political or religious views. Individual Mensa members do and will. How do I qualify? Do you think you qualify for Mensa membership? If so, you need to demonstrate that your IQ falls within the top 2% on a standardized intelligence test. You can sign up to be tested by the local group or provide other evidence of your IQ. Take the sample test or click on any of the other links for additional information.
Who are we? Dayton Area Mensa is a medium-sized group with a number of activities for all types of personalities. We are renowned for our monthly Games Night and for the great food we make, whether for small gatherings or large. Members come from west central Ohio around Dayton, south as far as Middletown and Oxford and north to Sidney.

DAM is governed by a Steering Committee of elected volunteers. Elections are held annually. There are also a number of volunteer positions held by DAMs who want to be more involved with the local group. DAM also sponsors an annual scholarship program, more info is just a click away.
